Self-acceptance involves a person's acceptance of himself or herself regardless of current behavior. It helps a person in learning to accept the different actions and attitudes of others. It helps a person feel confident and self-assured when dealing with others, reducing the tendency towards aggressiveness and hostility.

Spiritual development involves a person's spiritual awakening. It promotes a person's discovery of self and a newfound sense of belongingness. Spiritual development aids a person's transformation from a spiritual layperson to a spiritual practitioner.

Self-acceptance aids self-awareness, to achieve spiritual development, spiritual acceptance aids a personal transformation from layperson to the spiritual practitioner; it is essential to have adequate rest, to have fun, and to have some downtime. It is necessary to eat well, learn to have better-eating habits, and learn to control your time.
