It is important to note that personal development should be designed to improve performance like any other form of training. Not all personal development activities are structured to prepare an individual for work. Personal development activities designed to help an individual develop skills for success in other areas of life have been linked to increased employability. This is true for activities that include problem-solving, financial literacy, social skills, leadership development, and other areas that may be important to success in work.

This form of personal development may be a one-time or regular component of job performance, but either way, its role in promoting employability is significant. Financial literacy, for example, helps an individual understand their finances. Financial literacy also facilitates understanding the effects of the market on their finances and allows them to make better financial decisions. This is valuable because when an individual is financially literate, it enables them to participate in the modern economy and is also essential for children.

That said, it is challenging to develop a success mentality when life is experiencing difficulty, and the need to succeed can create the need to purchase products and services, open credit cards, take out loans, or make instant decisions. When this happens, the success mentality becomes a necessary component of success.

Another reason that personal development has become important is because of the personal growth that comes with it. Personal development can help an individual realize that success in life takes hard work and dedication. It also allows an individual to become more confident about life and be willing to take actions that lead to success. Finally, personal development also enables an individual to learn how to succeed in any area of life, and it does this without the feeling of failure.

Personal development is essential to help an individual progress in areas of life that are important to them. That is why it's necessary to be a part of any organization that trains individuals for success.
